Dr. Emily Obwaka
Dr. Emily Obwaka is the Executive Director for Teen Challenge Kenya (TCK), a Christian rehabilitation program that helps people out of addiction to drugs, alcohol and other life controlling issues through discipleship. She also serves as the Deputy Director for East Africa Region and Women’s Regional Director for Africa – Global Teen Challenge.
She has served as a Christian leader in Africa for over 20 years working in the government, local and international NGO sectors. Dr. Obwaka is an ordained minister with Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) and represented the church as a chaplain at the Nairobi Hospital for six years until 2022.
She speaks on HOPE FM radio at least once a month to answer life questions from a Biblical perspective in addition to preaching and teaching assignments in her local assembly. She believes in transforming paradigms that do not align with the full expression of who we are as believers.
She believes that Christ-centered leadership will bring the much-needed transformation Africa needs and is capable of attaining. A proponent of revival, she desires to fulfill God’s purpose in her life and see the next generation arising to fulfill theirs.
