Dr. Mercy Igoki

Dr. Igoki is passionate about making a positive impact on future generations. As a Parenting, Guidance, Counselling, Career, and Life Coach, she invests
her free time in motivating students, speaking to parents, and training and building capacity among education stakeholders.

Dr. Mercy Igoki Samuel is a highly experienced educator with a diverse background in various levels of education. Currently serving as the Registrar at Aga Khan University in Kenya, Dr.Igoki has held positions in university management, lecturing at the university level, teaching high school mathematics and geography, and managing primary and kindergarten schools.

With an impressive academic profile, Dr. Igoki holds a Ph.D. in Education Management and Leadership, a Masters degree in Education Management and Leadership, a Bachelors degree in Education and Counselling, a Higher Diploma in Guidance and Psychological Counselling, a Diploma in Education, a Certificate in Mediation, and is a Certified Life Coach. In addition to her professional roles, 

Dr. Igoki has also authored several articles and three books:
• Shaping the Generations: Raising a Disciplined People,
• Becoming the Best Me: Shaping My Career to Impact Generations
• The Hand in the Hurdles

She serves as the Mentorship Coordinator in the philanthropic program Affecto Watoto Wasome, which supports academically talented but financially disadvantaged students. She is also a member of various Board of Management committees for secondary schools.

Dr. Igoki is a mother of two sons: Advocate. Munene Micheni, a practicing advocate and Mike Micheni, a final-year medical student at the University of Nairobi. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Igoki enjoys photography, making new friends,
and traveling.
