Every Member a Minister, Every Member Necessary (Ephesians 4:11-16).

?We believe that God has brought each and every attendee to the Church for a purpose and for his or her own growth as well as the growth of the Church as a whole. Each one is gifted by God (Eph. 4:7; 1 Cor. 12:7) for the common good (1 Cor. 12:7; 1 Peter 4:10). Spirit-filled for sacrificial service, totally engaged (all of life-social, personal, business, family, etc. reflecting these values)

Where Is Karura Going?
Karura Community Chapel is a community for the true worship of God, a home for the care and growth of God's people, and a base for fulfilling God's purposes. God has given us a vision: "Every Life Transformed By Christ" and to this end we shall continue to endeavour, starting with personal transformation of individual members with a widening impact on those we touch.

Transformation in the Body
In keeping with our Vision and Values we will be working hard to enable God's transforming work in the lives of each individual who comes here. We will do this through a combination of relevant and trustworthy ministry in the Word, in music, in fellowship, and in opportunities to serve both within and beyond our Church.

Transformation in our Community
We desire to be a defining influence in our geographical area on behalf of the Lord Jesus. As we moved into this geographical area God gave us this passage as a promise:
"I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. " (Isaiah 42:6-7)

• Transformation impacting the communities in which our members live
• Transformation targeting the Slum Communities around us. As we build our contact with the people in these areas we hope to build models that can then be replicated through our Church Plants and by other avenues to help in transforming the lot of the poor.
  

Transformation through Church Planting
We trust the Lord to enable us plant Churches that will carry our DNA especially in the areas of Transformational ministry and Church Planting. Our goal is 50 Church plants by 2020, and we plan to plant 2 Churches this year. More and more our missions will be focused on Church Planting. In this endeavour we have been linking with the Nairobi Chapel sister churches whose vision is to have 300 churches planted by 2020.

Training of Life Transformers
Through our Internships and other training programmes both for our regular membership and those beyond, to build up people whose lives will be equipped to transform no matter where God may send them.
A transforming impact on the Karura area, Nairobi, Africa and the world! God has placed us among a people that go, or have access and interact all over the world. We are here at a time when the world is becoming more and more one big global village. The time is right, and the opportunity is there to take. March forth Karura!

Transformation through God's Word
Our aim: To speak God's truth in a way that's true to His word and relevant to the lives and times of modern Africa. The quality of our ministry of the Word has always, and will continue to be of highest importance. Our desire is to grow this and expand its impact beyond our Church.
